Tone arm lock levers for vintage turntables

Tone arm lock levers (loquet bras de lecture, Riegel für Tonarmstütze) for various vintage turntables.

Hand cast copies of original parts with a perfect fit, made in a strong polyurethane. Due to the methods and materials used, the back sides of the parts have a slightly lackluster finish.

Since many turntables were built by OEM suppliers these parts are often identical between various brands and models. The ones listed here are what I've been able to try out myself, identify by part numbers in service manuals, or got reported by previous buyers.

Most of these lock arms are replaced by pressing out a metal pin from the fork part of the arm mount, replacing the lock arm, and then pushing the pin back again. I recommend to press the pin backwards, from the front side of the turntable, since some pins are made in a slightly conical shape.

Price: 110 Sek / part + postage.

Lock lever for Dual cs503, cs505, cs506, cs521 and others.

Dual cs503, cs505, cs506, cs521 tone arm lock

The spares for the Dual lock arms were never sold separately, but only as part of a complete tonearm rest kit. Since there were so many Dual models, each with its own s/n for the tone arm rest, I really can't list them all here. These should fit several other 80's models apart from the ones listed. The lock arms came in two different flavours. One with two prongs (right), and one simpler, in just one piece (left). Check which one you need before ordering. Due to their quirky shape, these parts do not always have a perfect look at the side looking upwards on the photo. This does not affect their function.

Technics SL-1200mkII SL-2000, SL-23, SL-b2 et al tone arm lock

As far as I know, most 70s and 80s Technicses used one of two different types of tone arm locks. This is the one I've had access to myself and been able to copy.

Unfortunately, some cheper Technics models had a lock arm with an integral plastic pin, instead of the normal metal pin, The end of the plastic pin was melted into place at the factory. Replacement parts for those will not happen

Most of the parts we sell can be bought through Tradera, a Swedish auction site. Unfortunately, Tradera can be pretty hostile against buyers outside EU, and not always very helpful for those inside too. We've heard some nasty stuff about requirements for copies of passports. Also, since 2024 Tradera adds a "buyer protection fee" to all non-swedish orders, which we of course do not.

All parts we sell can be ordered directly by contact via e-mail: audio@collegit.se.

We ship worldwide, and accept payment through PayPal or bank transfer. Customers in Sweden can also pay by Swish or Plusgiro.

Shipping fees are of course dependent on the weight of the parts, and on the receiving country. Typically, the fee for sets of motor mounts within EU, USA, Australia, and many other regions is 36 SEK for a plain letter, or 114 SEK for a trackable one. (Within Sweden, 18 SEK or 58 SEK). The fee for other regions may be higher. Likewise for heavier parts, like sets of Sonab feet or Braun dampers.

Since the parts are hand made in very small batches, we don't have the margins to offer any notable discounts for larger orders, or to resellers. The best we can do is to not increase the postage fee for orders with multiple sets of parts, and for business buyers within EU we can arrange the usual VAT deduction. If this applies to your order, please add the correct name and the VAT identification number of your business to the e-mail with your request.

Normally all parts listed are in stock. Any parts that may have been recently sold out can be made in one day or two.
